So much has changed.
We’ve got Version 2 army list now. Look:

Don’t forget the updates to the Official Rule Amendments
too, also on the above linky.
Anyway, the delightful Mr Bancroft suggested a while ago
that the Version 2 of the army lists were going to be released soon. This was just after working through the first
of the Chryseis Scenario. Knowing that
the lists were going to include the Chryseis units, I figured I could hold off
a week or two before looking at scenario two.
I may have held off a bit longer than anticipated.
The Version 2 lists have received a bit more tinkerage than
just adding the Chryseis units.
Mechanised forces, that is to say a force with transports
for the majority of the infantry are now a viable option. But sadly not Boromites.
Concord can take an entire drone force.
Concord Drop Troops can just about squeeze into a 500 point
list.
Some points values for units have been adjusted. On Facebook, Tim has suggested that there
will be a breakdown of the changes.
Of course, these changes render many of the lists on this
blog to be obsolete.
Which is great news, because I get to do a whole bunch more forces with the new Version 2 selectors.
Along with reviewing the previous lists, due to the changes, more composition concepts can be approached – Like an entire mounted Concord Force.

There is loads to do at the moment, along with painting the
figures I have, making scenery for my battlefield and also plotting the online
persistent Antares Campaign here: https://wordpress.com/view/antaresnewsnetwork.wordpress.com
Right now, I intend to start picking through the Version 2
lists in greater detail and recording them here. Ready for the next time I am stuck looking at
the Warlord Webstore thinking “What was it I needed again?”.
Until next time!
